Introduction to posts
Posts are a powerful new addition to the Sitekit CMS, they allow you to create related cross-referenced structured lists, and can be used for discussions, forums, news and events. The online help for posts is available in the links below. A variant of posts labelled forums is also available. Forums are a specific type of post. Posts can also be created directly from forms.

Posts can be used for the following:

- events listings
- forums

- page commenting
- form based data collection and display
They also support workflow. They are sufficently flexible that you can use them for pretty well anything for which you need structured searchable data.
