The Sitekit page control is a server control integrated with visual studio that renders page layouts and content types with areas to add server and custom controls. It enables standard dotNet functionality built in a standard dotNet development environment to be easily added to any Sitekit CMS site.
The main benefits are that the technique provides a further means (beyond the existing Sitekit SDK) for extending the functionality of a standard Sitekit site. It also allows a company's existing development teams to use their up-to-date techniques such as web forms, data-grids, AJAX, web parts, post backs etc. in the CMS environment.
