Multi-language configuration

Sitekit CMS includes a multi-language feature that allows versions of sites in different languages to be developed in parallel.

The primary language for your site is defined by the Sitekit team when your version of Sitekit CMS is deployed.
All other langauge versions are secondary.

To configure the multi-language settings for your site:

  1. Click Site Settings on the Configure tab.
  2. Click the '+' next to Multi-language Configuration.
  3. Click Configure.
  4. Select from the list the languages for which you wish to create versions of your site. Click Next.
  5. For each language type the text that you want to be displayed to identify the langauge (e.g. 'German' or 'Deutsch'), and select an image to be displayed (e.g. image of a national flag). Click Next.
  6. Define the order in which you want the languages to be displayed by selecting a langauge on the list and clicking the Up or Down buttons.
  7. Click Finish.
  8. Click Publish at the top left corner of the desktop to save your changes.
