Change the position of a page in the navigation menu

You can move a page to a new position on the navigation menu using 'drag and drop'.

  1. In the Navigation Tree select the page you want to move.
  2. Click your left mouse button and hold it down.
  3. You can now 'drag' the page to the new location on the tree and 'drop' it by releasing the mouse button.

To move a page up or down the tree drag the pointer to the right of the tree and a dotted line will show you the position into which you can drop the page.

To move the page to a different branch of the tree move the pointer over the parent page of the appropriate branch and drop the page.

An  alternative way to change the position of a page in the navigation menu is to use cut/paste.

  1. In the Navigation Tree select the page you want to move.
  2. Right click the page and select Cut.
  3. Right click on the page that you want to be the new parent of the page you are moving and select Paste. The moved page appears on the tree below the new parent page.

Top Tips:

  •  Use the Search box at the top of the tree to quickly find a page.
  • If you have made a change to the navigation tree but cannot see the change click the Refresh Tree icon to the right of the asset tree.
