Edit a content layout

To edit a Content Layout:

1. In Asset View find the content layout that you want to change, right click it and select Edit.
   The Content Layout Editor window opens with the Edit tab pre-selected.
2. Edit the content layout HTML as required and click Save.

To edit the Content Layout's properties:

1. Click the Properties tab.
2. Type in the Notes box a short description of the layout to help stylists identify it.
3. If the layout is to be used on multiple sites (not recommended) type a comma separated list of the site ID numbers in the box.
4. If the layout is for a standard web browser, select Content layout.
5. If the layout is for a print version of an existing layout, select Print version for parent content layout.
   On the list that appears, tick the box next to the appropriate parent content layout.
6. If the layout is for a secondary browser version of an existing layout, select Secondary browser version for parent content layout.
   Select from the drop-down list the appropriate Secondary browser rule.
   Tick the box next to the appropriate parent content layout.
7. Tick the box to Strip images from page if browsed by PDA or mobile. This will deliver a text only version of pages that use this layout to these devices.
8. Click Save.
