Help and Support - Your phone system sucks

A few weeks ago someone at Sitekit pressed the wrong button and now every time I want tech support I don't only have to press 2 after dialling 0845 299 0900 - I also have to wait patiently for what seems like an age for, in an ideal world in the current scenario, Debbie to pick up (she's lovely - this is the only bearable point in the chain) and for Debbie then to put me through to Dave. Before, the call would go directly to Dave M who is my hero. If Dave was busy on another call, it would probably put me through to someone in the dev team. Worst case, voicemail. Now I get voicemail more often than not, Debbie as a bonus. This is a pretty poor show. You guys already acknowledge the phone system is effectively broken, and customers are getting a second class service. Are you going to fix this, or what? To cheer us all up, I have attached a picture of a dog with a hot dog in its face.

Hey Giles.

You might have misunderstood the thrust of my message.

It's that right now we have this:

I call > if I'm lucky, I get Debbie > Debbie will try and put me through to Dave

Before your phone system broke, it was:

I call > I get straight through to Dave, unless he's busy in which case I get Paul, or whoever, or voicemail.

You see that you've added an extra leg in my journey to where I want to be? That doesn't just take time unnecessarily from me - it takes unnecessary resource on your part.

I appreciate chapter and verse nonetheless.
