File as Page

Any file in your file library can be incorporated in your site navigation by making the file in question a 'File as page'.

'File as page' pages are configured by editing the Content of the page in question.

1. Edit the properties of the page that you want to configure. Select the content type as 'Use File as Page'
2. Click on the Select which file to display the content from link to get the file picker window. Browse the asset tree to find the file you want to use (one only), click OK.
3. Click Save to save your work or Publish to make it live.

Note: You can accomplish much the same thing by simply using an internal link to a downloadable file. The advantage of the File as Page approach is that the file is Navigable and can be assigned Metdata.
