Create a new page layout

To create a new page layout:

1. In Asset View right click the folder in which you want to store the new page layout.
2. Move the pointer over New and select Page Layout.

The new page layout (new_pagelayout.spl) is added to the tree. 

An alternative way to create a new page layout is to copy an existing page layout and then edit it as required. This is a quick way to create a page layout that is similar to an existing one.

To copy a page layout:

1. In Asset View find the page layout that you want to copy and right click it.
2. Select Copy.
3. Right click the folder in which you want to store the new page layout.
4. Select Paste. The copy of the page layout is added to the tree.
