Adding Questions to a FAQ

 

  1. Click the Manage>>FAQ.
  2. Select the FAQ you wish to work on from the drop down list at the top left of the FAQ window.
  3. Type a new Question into the blank FAQ text box, and click the Add Action.
  4. The Question is now created. But so far it has no answer, so now you need to Edit the new Question. This will open the Edit FAQ Window.
  5. In the Edit FAQ window, type in the Answer to the Question you have just created.
  6. Type in any keyword(s) that would help a user find this particular Question/Answer. For example, if the Question is about “Booking a seat”, you could enter “Booking” as a keyword.
  7. Related FAQs - if you want to help the user to find FAQs Questions/Answers that are related to the current Question, Check the names in the Related FAQs section. Links to them will be displayed alongside the current Question.
  8. To De-select related FAQs – uncheck their names in the Related FAQ section.
  9. If you want to provide access to files that are related to this FAQ Question, click Add downloadable files. From the Asset List Picker, select the list that you want to add, then click the Use Asset List Action.
  10. Click OK to close the Asset List Picker.
  11. If you want to provide links from this FAQ Question to other pages on your website, click Select Internal Links.
  12. From the Asset List Picker, select the list that you want to add, then click the Use Asset List Action.
  13. Click OK to close the Asset List Picker.
  14. If you want to provide links from this FAQ Question to pages on other websites, click Select External Links.
  15. From the Asset List Picker, select the list that you want to add, then click the Use Asset List Action.
  16. Click OK to close the Asset List Picker.
  17. When you have finished creating your FAQ Question, click the Publish button (top left) to save and publish your new FAQ entry.
